Together we make a difference
Our employees play an active role in shaping our sustainability efforts and we encourage everyone to make a difference. This also entails regularly inviting employees to share their perspectives as well as implementing initiatives and programs on a local and global level to foster the physical and mental health of our employees. We recognize that thriving employees are the foundation of a sustainable company.
Engagement Survey
To gather feedback and gain insights into our employee’s workplace experiences, NovaTaste launched an employee engagement survey in 2024. The key areas treated in the survey include leadership, communication, career development, and workplace culture. By actively seeking actionable feedback we want to foster transparent communication and a positive work environment.
Physical Health Initiatives
With Wings for Life World Run NovaTaste launched its first global health initiative in 2024. The event promotes health, inclusion, and team spirit – reflecting our commitment to social impact and employee well-being.
In 2025 the company introduced another program by taking part in the Movevo Move Days Initiative. The Program included daily challenges, healthy routines and exercises that employees can integrate not only in their workplace behaviors but also in their daily lives.
Mental Health Initiatives
To promote not only physical, but also mental well-being, NovaTaste has recently launched a global mental health program called nilo.health. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to fostering a supportive work environment and prioritizing employee resilience and productivity worldwide.
Sustainable workplaces
NovaTaste supports sustainable mobility by offering annual public transportation passes (KlimaTicket) to over 60 employees in Austria and sponsoring bicycles for more than 130 employees across Germany and Austria.
From volunteering initiatives like Clean Up Days to the Green Team in our headquarter Salzburg – together we create a more sustainable working environment.

At NovaTaste, our success is built on ethics, honesty, and integrity. With our Whisteblowing Tool “Speak up”, we take another step toward strengthening compliance and ensuring a safe, inclusive workplace for everyone where concerns can be reported easily, quickly and anonymously.
NovaTaste is committed to paying employees around the world fair and equitable wages. Our yearly compensation review process ensures this commitment. In addition, the company is working with recognized external consulting firms providing their methodology and benchmarks to ensure an unbiased evaluation.
The protection, health and safety of all our employees, business partners and visitors at our sites is particularly important to us. Each individual must comply with the NovaTaste guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for colleagues and themselves.

We respect and encourage diversity among our employees and ensure a working environment that offers equal opportunities, is free from discrimination and harassment, and in which every employee is treated with dignity and respect.
Gender Equality
Gender diversity and gender equality are key focus areas for us across the NovaTaste Group: women make up 34.5% of our workforce, which is typical for the manufacturing industry. In 2025 the share of women in leadership positions stands at 36.6%, demonstrating that female representation in leadership is aligned with our overall workforce participation.
Still, NovaTaste recognizes that there is work to be done to further advance gender equality in the industry. In Germany, our works council supports this goal through an initiative called "Von Frau zu Frau" (engl.: “woman to woman”), offering space to female employees to discuss topics like maternity leave, menopause, and their general wellbeing at work. In Mexico, our team takes the International Women’s Day as an opportunity to bring employees together and share stories about inspiring women who had a significant impact on their professional journeys.
We also understand that gender equality includes supporting mothers and fathers in balancing their professional and personal lives. That’s why we offer flexible working time and remote work options where possible, depending on the role and our local guidelines. By providing as much flexibility as possible within this framework, we aim to help employees thrive both at work and at home.
Cultural Diversity
Our global team includes employees from South and North America, Asia, and Europe, bringing a wide range of cultural perspectives. We celebrate this richness by honoring local traditions – whether it’s an Altar Contest for Day of the Dead in Mexico or a pumpkin decorating contest in the U.S. – bringing our community closer together through local engagement.
We celebrate this cultural diversity that shapes our global team. We actively welcome talent from around the world and provide support with work permits, including for our headquarters in Austria. This includes help with the necessary paperwork and covering all costs related to the permit process. We believe that diversity strengthens NovaTaste globally, and we are committed to removing barriers that may prevent skilled individuals from joining us.
